Enhancing Leadership
Te Pai Ora SSPA is thrilled to announce the return of this popular learning opportunity for leaders in the social services sector.
Facilitated by expert Kaitiaki across six interactive, dynamic sessions, participants will further develop their leadership skills, strengthen whanaungatanga with other sector leaders, and nurture their own hauora.
In 2026, we are offering unique, tailored workshops featuring a distinguished line-up of Kaitiaki who are respected leaders in their fields. Kaye-Maree Dunn, Dr. Chris Jansen, Sandy Thompson and Tracey Bridges will facilitate sessions that blend presentations, frameworks, and philosophies with peer-to-peer discussions and real-world workshopping.
Key topics will include values-based leadership, collaborative leadership, governance, and mana wāhine and mana tāne approaches to community-based leadership—essential skills for today’s social service sector.
The series will start and end with a whanaungatanga session, led by Te Pai Ora SSPA Kaiwhakahaere Matua CE Belinda Himiona, to build collective leadership and to tautoko an ongoing leadership community beyond the end of the series.
With places limited to 15 leaders, we encourage you to secure your spot early (please note, registration is limited to two participants per organisation). Signing up grants you access to all six sessions.
We look forward to building on the success of previous years and continuing to grow our collective knowledge and leadership capacity.
